SPRING MORN (Mitsch) 1989 2Y-YPP. LM. 15" (Euphony open pollinated) HO 13/8. Elegant silken poise coupled with clean precise color characterizes this flower.
Another Y-P from open pollinated breeding and one of the best.
Broad spade shaped ivory smooth perianth of soft lemon yellow blends beautifully with the pastel pink frilled corona, becoming deeper color near the margin.
PITTA (Mitsch) 1979 2W-P. LM. 20" (Precedent x Debutante) F34/2. Carrying many of the good points of both parents, this has produced consistently high quality show flowers.
The ivory white perianth is very rounded, much overlapping, and flat.
The saucer shaped corona is apricot pink to the base. Good balance and great substance.
CEDAR HILLS (Mitsch/Havens) 1987 3W-GYY. L. 24" (Im ala x Green Hills) KK87/3A. One of our favorites, the arge green eye zone, which extends nearly half the cup, seems to dominate one's attention when first observing.
The absolute perfection of form and clean coloration are tributes to both its parents.
Beautifully rounded broad white perianth and deep clear yellow short cup complete the picture.
MISTIQUE (Mitsch) 1982 2W-W. L. 18" (Pigeon x Wings of Song) HH80/3.
The graceful, well reflexed perianth and fluted funnel-shaped crown make this a very attractive decorative flower.
Good stems and a good grower but sometimes produces a rough appearing bulb. each.
